Danielle Feezle Padme Amidala-Skywalker |
![]() One of Danielle's first memories of the Star Wars Saga involves character role playing with friends in the neighborhood following the release of The Empire Strikes Back. Being one of the only girls, she was often forced to be Princess Leia, but always begged to be a stormtrooper instead. Almost 20 years later, with the release of the Special Addition Trilogy in 1997, she again found herself in a group of friends who became engrossed in the epic struggle of good vs. evil. Having seen both The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi on the big screen during their original release, she felt the need to introduce her youngest brother Sean to the movies that helped shape a full generation of lives. These movies and characters gave a sister and brother over 11 years apart in age something to share. Around this same time, Danielle began attending several comic and movie conventions, where she witnessed star wars costuming for the first time. While attending Celebration II (a large Star Wars conventi on) in Indianapolis during 2002, she met several members of the 501st Legion. Watching them take their group photo outside the convention center, she vowed she would own her own set of stormtrooper armor. Less than a year later she had purchased a set of armor, cut smaller to fit her 5'2 frame. 20 years later, she was now a stormtrooper. She was also the envy of her brother, and following his graduation from high school, she welcomed him into her second family, paying for a large portion of his own set of armor.Costuming and the Ohio Garrison have become focal points in the lives of Danielle and her husband Rich, who costumes as Anakin Skywalker. They met at the premiere of Episode III, and have been trooping together ever since. Seldom does a month go by without at least 1 or 2 events, and often they participate in more than one event a weekend. Helping to form Masters of the Force was the next logical step for the couple. Danielle had performed on stage throughout High School, and had never forgot the love that she felt for this type of performance. The chance to take her hobby from photo ops and meet and greets to full stage choreography was something that she had to be a part of. She assisted with choreographing the duel between Anakin( her real life husband) and Obi-Wan(her brother Sean), and created a Padme costume to set the mood and storyline for beginning of the duel. When not dressed in one of her multiple Star Wars costumes, Danielle is a mental health social worker for children and adults. She lives in Youngstown, Ohio with her husband and their two cats. |
